XBox 360 Repair Update

Eric’s repaired XBox 360 came back last week.
To be fair to Microsoft, I have to say that I was generally impressed with their handling of the situation!
Total time was about 3 weeks, repairs were done accurately (meaning that it worked when we plugged in it, anyway), and they even called to let us know it was on it’s way back, and what day to expect it on our front porch.
Not bad, considering what other manufacturers have done (or not done) with their warranty problems.
Oh, and no questions asked about warranty or proof-of-purchase stuff at all. Got a bad XBox? Sure, we’ll fix it for you!
That’s how it ought to be. Microsoft earns 5 stars (my personal max) for their handling of this situation. I know it’s costing them a bundle, though.
